I think what you are doing is wonderful. Had your book been available to some of the teachers when I went to school, I would have been a solid state physicist. I was defeated in High School. by my high school math teacher Fortunately he went on to be the Superintendent, which took him out of the classroom, He only taught those that could learn in the method that he was capable of teaching, which left me out.
I like physics, but you need a strong math background. When I went to college everyone in Electronics wanted to study with me because I could explain to them exactly what was happening in each component and what was happening as each electron was being excited in each particular material, I could interpolate this and explain it in a common sense method of understanding. Of course they helped me with math as did my Electronics instructor.
I have now been in the Electronics business for 35 years so it might be too late for me, but I sure hope your book gets world attention and becomes a priority with all teachers who we entrust with our children.
12% of the population is dyslexic, that is huge. Lets put another spin on it. Some of the greats: the Edison, Einstein, Ford for openers were dyslexic. These people think dimensionally or in quantum physics. They can mathematically prove 7 dimensions. How many genius’s are going to be overlooked, defeated or have their feathers snipped by our educators before some Teachers are willing to learn the extra few steps it takes to not leave any child behind. Perhaps it would give greater meaning to their teaching careers if their class as a whole, when tested, raised the bar up 2 notches. By whole I mean, by including the students that kept the class average down would help bring the class average up once they understood the material.
